Goodbye 2017

She is a fraction of the person she used to be.  She is less than the person she was in the summer.  That person rose from the ashes like a phoenix, and regenerated.  Climbed out of a deep hole and walked towards the light, not yet brave enough to sit on the edge with her legs dangling in yet.  It'll happen, they said  And she finally believed.  The light shone out of her mind and lit the way, and she finally believed.

For, its a lonely place when you turn out the light.  The shadows seem to magnify under the radar of your limited night vision.  Sounds that you would never hear in the light, become ever so apparent.  The feeling of loneliness descends upon you like, oncoming traffic on the road at twilight.

I have seen your face before.  Many times.  I have it on my phone, in my pocket.  It goes everywhere with me.  We’ve never spoken, but we’ve been up close and personal.  I think you’re amazing.

We've been dancing around in circles for such a long time.  I've written this before.  I've definitely said it before. I am not sure you are dizzy at all, which means you haven't clocked whats going on here.  This is a the epitome of an unhealthy cycle that's not breaking for Love nor money.

How did I get here? I'm standing in a swamp of loneliness, with only the sounds of my lone heartbeat, contemplating where life wants to carry me next.  There are no road signs, no warnings of any kind, just me and my two Unicorn lovers.

We gravitate towards each other , before we even know why we have arrived. The universe puts us in the same place in order to provoke a reaction. We acted accordingly.  It was written.  Little did we know we had already lost.

Love is such a crazy thing

If you find your soulmate in life, hang on to them in whatever capacity you can.  But be realistic, you may desire them romantically, but life may have it that it doesn't work out that way.  Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

The Dark

I feel like I'm here in the dark and you're somewhere bright and airy with my light switch...but you won't light up my room.

42 Days Of Summer

Seasons like this.

As the weather shifts from gloomy grey skies and dark afternoons, to long days and clear skies, it is blatantly obvious how everyone's mood switches to the epitome of happiness.  No one is exempt.

I'm all shades of black and white.

Although the Winter season is over, and the weather is less hormonal (debatable), the sun shines (sometimes), but still my despair lingers.  

The Descent of the Darkness

I am not myself. I am not currently who I thought I was.  I am evolving through a darkness.

I think humans get to an age where whoever they have been all their life, is what they will remain as. Some people will never change. That is something I have found hard to accept.
