Nothing sweet about me. Yeah.

So, 'about me'.  Who am I?  Well you already know why I'm called Peachy (Peach, Peachy Peach, P).   But why would I prefer to be random with Unicorns than walk with alley cats?

I have put together a montage of juicy facts to help you move closer to discovering the answers.  My lucky number is 13, so 13 morsels of juiciness is what I shall present!

1. A book changed my life.
The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield was recommended to me about four years ago by a good friend.  I was at a point in my life where I was lost.  I knew that I did not want to continue living how I was, but I did not know where to go.  A whole new world opened up in front of me after I read this book.  I understood myself a lot better and life continued to progress positively from that moment onwards.

2. I am not particularly fond of ice cream.

3. I am a tea fanatic!
I will drink anything caffeine free; fruit tea, herbal tea, etc.  I have a cupboard in my kitchen with a plethora of varieties and flavours.

4. I know all the words to Home Alone 1 & 2.
My favourite film from my childhood.  To this day I still laugh at all the same parts. It never gets old.

5. I love to play board games.
My favourite is Monopoly.  At the moment we have 5 different versions in our house.

6. My speciality subject on Mastermind would be music.

7. Every Tuesday I read the television guide in the shop, to find out what will happen in all the soaps for that week...then I return it to the shelf.

8. I collect notebooks.
All sizes, all styles and different varieties of expense.  Believe me, there is a notebook for everything!

9.  I DO NOT eat bananas.

10. I recently found out that the place Diagon Alley in Harry Potter is actually a play on the word diagonally.
I'm sure everyone knew this but me.  Kayla looked at me like I was a Martian when she realised I did not know.

11. I laugh loudly in public.
I usually burst out laughing and end up with tears streaming down my face accompanied by some sort of screech or howl.

12.  My favourite cartoon as a child was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

13. A good friend once told me 'change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change.'
If you think things are rubbish, I guarantee they will continue to be. Change your mind-set and things will look up :)

I would like to take this time to say thank you to all of you who are reading, who regularly read and who are reading for the first time.  I hope I have made you chuckle or at least inspired you to dash to WH Smith and read the TV guide.  Much love to you all xxx

Let's have a blessed week! - Using Social Media.

Social Media is a wonderful thing.  For example, if I did not have a social media account (multiple) I would not know that Aspartame causes cancerous cells.  Aspartame is found in soft drinks and has 92 different side affects that can cause ill health ( Sweet Poison ).  Nor would I know that David Cameron took part in the 'Hang Mandela' campaign, while Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, with the Federation of Conservative students ( Political Blindspot ).  Do you remember Cameron issuing a statement of condolence?

On the flip side: without social media I wouldn't have been able to see Cheryl Cole's wedding ring from her new marriage.  I definitely would not have seen Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's first wedding snaps, and how else would I have seen Iggy Azaela's new bum skimming shorts.  Yes, another pair.

Just like life, you get out of social media what you put in.  If you choose to follow meaningless celebrities and famous-for-getting-your-clothes-off women, then you will live in a very different world to the people that follow conscious beings and enlightening accounts.

At least once this week, use your social media for good.  Positivity.  There are people with real causes and IMPORTANT information struggling to get their voice heard because of the Iggy's and Kimye's that have more air space on the timeline.  Find some thing meaningful, something that hits home, something that can help someone and POST IT, please.

That one tweet, post, upload could make a difference to someone who needs it.  Or even better, save someone's life.

Feel free to follow me on my social media accounts. My links are at the top of the page.  I will retweet or repost every post/tweet of the aforementioned nature, just @ me.

Much love to you all.

Thankful Thursday

Now that college is finished I have had a lot more time to focus on what I am thankful for.  But more free time has also meant more thinking time.  Why can't we just switch our brains off? Literally.  Here is my 'this is what I m thankful for since I finished college' list.

Time- So much it! Sometimes I don't know what to do with all my new found free time.  I have been making lists and attempting to keep busy so as not to get bored.  It definitely requires some adjustment to take yourself from dong something full time to having nearly all your time available.

DVDs- I have pledged to watch one DVD a night.  My collection is full of films I have bought or been given but never watched.  Some have been unopened since as long as over a year ago!  I find it hard to sit in one place for so long and tune in into something that demands my constant attention for a length of time.  I am working on changing my mind set.  So far I have managed to keep it up.

Happy People- It is beautiful to see a smiling face or hear gratitude from a stranger.  It is also beautiful to meet- forgive me for sounding cliché- NICE people; genuinely NICE people.  Such a wonderful thing.  When I encounter people like it I find it impossible not to feed off their aura. I hope they find something positive in mine too.

Music- "If it wasn't for the music I don't know what we'd do. You know the music stepped in and saved my life"- DJ Narrows- Saved Soul.

What has made you thankful lately?

Much love x

30 Day Snap | Day 12

The lesson of the day!  In any circumstance this is something to rely on.  I am an expert at not doing this, which makes me the perfect person to emphasise how important it is.  Ha!

A bit of a different angle for the 30 Day Snap, but this summed up my day.

30 Day Snap | Day 11

Playing confession and hiding round white partitions.  Selecting Unicorns and cuddling them.  Just a normal Wednesday.
