The vibrant and cultural atmosphere of Camden Lock is a must-do on anyone's 'to-do list'. Wrapped up in music and smiling faces while you sample the wears of street vendors, brings nothing but joy and peace as you walk the crowded market town. Pick up a bargain on one of the famous market stalls, take a walk along the canal or simply mooch around and absorb the sights = bliss.
What is your favourite thing about visiting Camden?

Let me know if any work for you.
1. Watch a film.
Getting lost in the drama of a story can help to focus your mind elsewhere. I think it goes without saying to stay away from Titanic and Marley and Me though. A comedy or love story never fails. Guys, try a hard hitting action film. Sorry for the stereotype.
2. Get outdoors!
Your favourite park/museum/attraction. I have a lovely spot close to home where I sit and clear my head for a couple of hours. It is peaceful and very very quiet with beautiful scenery.
3. Be active.
Kick start your engine mate! Running, yoga, stretching, walking whatever gets you moving. I fully recommend Just Dance on the Wii/Xbox.
4. Mediation
To meditate is simply to find peace in the tornado that is life. When you cannot find peace around you, let your inner peace transcend to your surroundings. Sit for 5-10 minutes with your eyes closed, concentrating on your breathing and the functioning of your body.
5. Get artsy.
Do something creative. Draw how you feel. Paint something, make something. Decorate a room. Paint your nails. Plan some outfits. Design something. Write a story. Anything that calls for your to use your creative vision will expel your negative energy AND turn it into something cool.
None of these activities will prove fruitful without mindfulness. Mindfulness is the art of living and being in the moment; focusing on the task in hand. If you are going for a jog but constantly think of how much you want to hurt your cat for spilling milk everywhere, by time you get back you will not feel any different. Take a deep breath, and plough full stream ahead into what you are doing. If your thoughts start to stray, gently remind yourself to concentrate on what you are doing. This does take some practise so don't beat yourself up for not being able to do it. I am still mastering this skill. However, I am a lot better at it than I was a year ago, and even more so a year before that.
Much love everyone.

| Unicorn Art |
Sunday, Funday!
This last Sunday in June consisted of a late morning, arts and general lounging. I am dedicating myself to completing this Painting by Numbers picture of a Unicorn. I say dedicating myself because I tend to start tasks with the best intentions then get side-tracked by camels and shiny things. All this free time gives me no excuse for unfinished art/books/chores etc etc. Painting allows me to focus for an hour or so. I enjoy concentrating on creating.
I hope you have all had a fabulously happy Sunday. Much love xxx

Aiding me in my quest to watch more films, the mister provided tonight's entertainment.
I have seen The Fifth Element a few times and I rate it highly. I had never seen The Burbs before today. Too be honest it is not something I would have picked by myself. I was surprised how much I liked it. Some scenes had me in tears they were so funny!
I would love it if you guys would recommend any of your favourite films you think I should watch ;) There are loads of classics I have not seen and a lot of good films I do not know about.
Much love xxx

Laughter, laughter and more laughter today. I love days like this! I seemed to attract some very open auras today. And by open I mean that I was able to detect feelings and emotions of others more than usual. So perhaps I was more perceptive today? It's an interesting experience. To everyone I bumped into today, I want you to know you made my day. Much love to you.
And love to you, my wonderful readers for reading xxx

30 Day Snap | Day 25
I haven't been to the cinema in ages! I am sure its been a couple of years since I last went! I was meant to go by myself last month but I didn't make plans with much conviction, and ended up in my favourite tattoo shop. Today however was planned from a few days ago. I have wanted to see The Fault in Our Stars ever since I read the book last month. I aimed for a nice early showing. By the powers of synchronicity, I saw my sister on the way to the cinema and so she came with me. Head in a book on the street I didn't even notice her come up to me (the book wasn't even that good too be honest, I later abandoned it).
The film was wonderful. AMAZING. Those who have read the book will not be disappointed. I will go as far as to say it is the best film adaptation of a book I have ever seen. It was everything the book was, with added emotion; because no one could possibly make a book come alive that THAT in their head. The film brought to life a brilliant love story in the most beautiful way.
If you have read the book, go and see the film. If you have never read the book, go and see the film.
Now the question is what shall I see at the cinema next?? Any ideas welcome!

| Homemade Vitoria sponge birthday cake |
My mum made this cake for my Uncle's birthday. It was absolutely delicious! Jam and cream were in the middle and the actual cake was so light. It was also made with gluten free flour, but you wouldn't have been able to tell.
Although his birthday is next week we celebrated my Uncle's 50th birthday. My Uncle is someone I look up to. I always have. I always remember the fun we had when I was a child; playing football, going to his house, him taking me out, teaching me to cook. I spent a lot of time with him. He has taught me a lot. I love cooking and football because of him. Whenever he comes over we always have a laugh. I admire him so much, he's a legend! Every one is our family loves him.
We had a little birthday gathering for him and he really enjoyed himself. I love to see him happy so mission complete! Happy early birthday to my wonderful Uncle!

Adventures at the Barbican Centre

The Barbican Centre is such a fun place. They hold exhibitions there; you can watch a play, or a film at their cinema. There is a restaurant and a mini Costa and gift shop on the ground floor. What I love most, is the library. My little people like the library and the fountains best of all.

I enjoy sitting out next to the fountains. The atmosphere is so peaceful and calming. We usually sit outside for a while as soon as we arrive at the centre, seems to be a little routine of ours.

" The library is kept is very clean. It has a big selection of interesting books. I like that there is a big crocodile cushion, which is very scary! They have loads of books and comics like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Superman, Batman and Teenage Ninja Turtles. The library staff can be very helpful. The room has tables and chairs, and large soft cushions. You can also buy badges for 20p. My favourite books to borrow are the fantasy ones. It is the best library I have been too."

Today's theme songs were that piano tune from the Tom Hanks film Big (I have no idea of the name, and even if I did I doubt you would recognise the name) you know the one! Also L-O-V-E by Joss Stone and the underrated 5 years time by Noah and the Whale.
Fun found it's way into my life in the form of moustaches, Where's Wally and shopping trips where you go in for a sandwhich and spend £10. That includes 3 bags of sensations popcorn. If you can get your hands on it, do so!! The Vine app threatened to prevent air from entering our lungs as we were laughing so hard. Our diets were sponsored by half sandwiches from Waitrose and ye old sweet shop rhubarb and custard...I am not sure of the name, and bubble-gum frogs. *
For all my Irish viewers - we spent the whole day having the craic!
In the evening my little box of love, brewed in a cup, accompanied me to bed.
I hope you all made some fantastic memories today :) xxx
*I could never work out what the flavour was as a child, and today I found out from the sweet shop lady. What a revelation!

Happy Saturday World!!!
Today I would like to be doing something so fun I could cry. However, the actual task I am doing is even better. Take a guess? No its beyond delightful. I'll tell you; coursework!!! (I'm sure that was your next guess).
Yes, today it is just me and the human skeleton. Oodles of fun. A whole day dedicated to textbooks and 1500 words- plus ten percent- of skeletal make up and muscles fibres.
I am hoping for a smooth ride as I would love to go to bed before 12am. Ambitious, I know, but where there is a will there is a way. So, I am sitting comfortably, headphones in, laptop on lap surrounded by textbooks....And I am blogging?? Right.
Wish me luck everyone! I pray you all have a blessed Saturday, whether it be queuing up for roller-coaster rides, doing the weekly shop or skipping in fields of gold, have a good one and enjoy every moment.
Much love!

Charity Fundraiser

HEYYY!!
If you follow me on Twitter, you will know that I have been raising money for charity for the purpose of a college project. The task was to plan, develop and execute a fundraiser for a charity of our choice.
I chose Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. They are a charity that help and support children with life-threatening and life-limited illnesses, and their families. Offering support, advice and counselling to parents of bereaved children, this charity is something those in need heavily rely on. Noah's Ark also organise sibling days to lift the spirits of brothers and sisters affected by an ill sibling. I really believe in their work and was more than happy to raise money for them. As well as that, I also plan to sign up as a volunteer.
On Saturday, we put on a children's fun day at my local church. There was a cake, book sale, teddy bear prizes, biscuit decorating and games. I made a special effort to greet all the guests and ensure everyone was looked after. Everyone who attended said they really enjoyed themselves! It was a great day!
I am so proud of what was achieved; it made all the stress and hiccups worthwhile! I would do it all again, but be a little wiser next time.
All my family and friends that have supported me, I am so very grateful. I feel very blessed . I love you all if you are reading this!
We have set up a Go Fund Me, where people can donate to our cause. Just click the link!!
If you are able to donate and/or share the link please do! Whether its £1 or more, every amount helps.
This has been a great experience. I have learnt A LOT and found some qualities in myself I did not know I had: for that I am thankful.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
